Thank you for visiting our web site. The Michigan Association of Vehicle Theft Investigators (MAVTI) is a non-profit statewide organization comprised of professionals who are committed to the detection, investigation, prosecution, and suppression of vehicle theft and related crimes.

We are police officers, SIU investigators, and others who recognize that vehicle theft is a serious problem that impacts our state both socially and economically.

The primary focus of our organization is to provide affordable, in-state training to police officers and SIU investigators in all facets of vehicle theft including identification, investigation, and current statewide trends. Many of our members are experts in their field and their expertise is utilized within the organization. We have trained hundreds in our short history.

If we can assist you in any way, please contact us. If you are interested in becoming a member, please complete and submit the application on the membership page.
