Ten Years

It is hard to believe but MAVTI is now ten years old! In our short history our membership has grown to over 200 and we have trained hundreds of police officers, insurance investigators, and other professionals in vehicle theft, fraud, investigative techniques, and statewide trends. No other organization in the state has trained more! Happy Birthday MAVTI and thanks to all who have worked so hard to make the organization a success!

Memberships

Don’t forget to renew your MAVTI membership. Our memberships run for the calendar year and renewals are due in January. Our dues have never increased and are still $20. Membership applications and renewal forms can be found under the “Membership” tab on our website. If you have questions or need more information contact David Tjepkema at 517-336-6394.

Auto Tidbit

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China is now the number one market for car and van sales. In 2009, China sold over 13.5 million vehicles while the former number one market, the United States, sold about 10.5 million vehicles. This was an increase of 45% in China, while U.S. sales fell 21%.
