The primary focus of the Michigan Association of Vehicle Theft
Investigators is to provide quality, affordable vehicle theft training
to Michigan law enforcement and SIU investigators. MAVTI, in a
unique partnership with the Michigan Auto Theft Prevention Authority
(ATPA), is able to bring this training free of charge to the law
enforcement community in Michigan.
Courses are MCOLES certified and designed to fit inside an 8 hr
workday. Departments and/or individual officers interested in attending
training may choose from the courses outlined or work directly with the
instructors to tailor a program to their needs.
And - most important to agencies and individual officers – there is
no charge to an agency or individual officer to attend our training!
