upcoming Training - MAVTI 2011 Conference

The 2011 Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, located at 15801 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, MI 48126. The conference runs from 8:15am – 4pm.

This year will feature a presentation on “Vehicle Finance Theft, which is quickly becoming the preferred method of theft for many enterprising thieves. See how this is being accomplished, how to recognize it, and what tools are available to assist the investigator.

You won’t want to miss our session on “Social Media and Investigations”. Social networking is here to stay, so let's learn what is available through the various sites, how to access it, and how we can use them to our advantage during investigations. 

For those who have never appeared on the witness stand, Attorney Margaret Scott will help you will learn what to expect, how to conduct yourself, and how to avoid pitfalls that witnesses sometimes find themselves confronted with.

The cost of the conference is $10 for members and $30 for non-members and includes lunch, snacks, raffles, door prizes, and networking. Whether you come for the entire day or just attend a single presentation, you won’t find a better value anywhere!
